Title: PHP eBooks
Post by: Trusz on March 14, 2002, 05:32:38 PM
Does any one know where i can find some good PHP eBook(s). I haven't got the money to fork out for some real books so I'm sticking to web resources for now.

I want something that starts right from the beginning and preferably deals with inegtrating mysql into it later on...

I've learnt a little from various articles, includes and variables via URL but doing stuff that way seems quite unnecesscary from what i've seen around php based websites.

all help much appreciated!

hrmm
some math is cool, some is not
I hate algebra, but regular math, is cool.

I like to play with hex (no, not TheHex you goons) too, especially in assembler... it's just I hate algebra (well,
some of it heh).

Math is my strength. I'm too impatient to read anything fictional...period. So I suck at reading comparably...

oh well...

I don't really like math... but I've always been pretty good at it. At least in 'fingering' out math problems. 2+2=5 right?

try books by Jules Verne.. absolutely wonderful.. the Mysterious Island... etc
or read Mark Twain's Roughing It (which is a true story)
both are excellent reads...

i gave up reading fiction as soon as they stopped making us take books out of the library at school for english lessons.

math is ok, i study it in college but i'll probably drop it next year to concentrate on my other subjects. Maths mechanics is kewl cos it's alot to do with physics and i study physics so i find it easier but pure maths i.e. all the algebra shit is quite hard and pisses me off alot of the time but its kewl when you do some massive algebra problem and gettit right cos you think you're not so stupid after all ;)

Well, since we're on the subject of school classes, I used to like chemistry.

Uneek... powered by C8H10N402

Not to mention sex ed... just not the one taught in the classroom with the tadpole feature movies...

ewww !!
horny fucks !

lol
Neek you better explain what you meant by sex ed, just not in the class eheheh
As far as Zero... what did you mean by that class on cold days ? I have a good
guess but can't be sure...

anyways,

I hated PE period... I have a lot of stories (PE and otherwise) that really show how fucked up
the public school system is and always has been. Oh well, that's long done with...

I did like Chemistry, Biology, hated physics (heh), I loved English (I actually
got a 98% in English one year heh), and well I can't think of any more classes.
My memory is fogged thankfully, as HS was pure hell....

You two naughty boys better explain yourself !
hehehehe
