Title: IE Patch for Security Patch.
Post by: Cobra on March 10, 2003, 10:28:31 AM
Yeah, you read the Subject header correctly. Only Microsoft can do something like this. Was running updates for my XP system and came across this.

"813951: Update for Internet Explorer 6 SP1
Download size: 345 KB, 1 minute
This update fixes an issue caused by Internet Explorer security patch 810847 that can cause authentication issues in Internet Explorer"

Everyone see the bit where it says "This update fixes an issue caused by Internet Explorer security patch 810847". How about that. They fix one problem, and create another.  I am now convinced that they have nothing to do down at the little MS office block. So they create work for themselves.

*lol*

now we wait for a security patch for a security patch for a security patch

which I'm sure already has happened

but this is too funny
