Does anybody know if there is a way to view the current running connections of the pc? I've no idea about it.
Thanks!

Personally, the best way is to use a firewall software which has a "Net State" function that can show the currently active connections and the details of these connections, including Remote Address/Port, Local Application/Port, Protocol and Status.
Why not try Armor2net Personal Firewall? I know it has that feature. Get it here: http://www.armor2net.com
Hope this helps!  ;)
