I bought my fiancee an LG VX4400 cellphone used and everything works ok except we cannot discover the previous owners security code  ???which we need to change, and  I have not found the way to change the phone from"manner mode"  :(to regular.Any advice will be appreciated

I came across a phone like that before.  I don't know if this will work, but I took the back off, took the battery out (including the back up lithium) and drained (when it shocked me) the capacitors.  When I put it all back together all the defaults were back and the codes were cleared.  It erased the address book, but it cleared it!

If that doesn't work, some cells have a reset button you push with something pointy.
