Title: PKI Digital Singatures
Post by: CBK on February 26, 2002, 03:36:01 AM
The IT personal and ISC's will be getting a PKI key-thingy next month.  Anyone know any good info/links about this matter and how does PKI compair to PGP (DAS and whatnot) ok ok back to work... :)

We use Verisign here at work for our Digital Signature. Their site has a bit of info on Digital Signature technology. Check them out. As far as how it stacks up to PKI, I'm not sure as I've never used them. PGP is pretty good, (No pun intended...), but for setup, you really can't beat Verisign. It's pretty straight forward.

I've used Verisign, PGP, and built my own (untrusted CA), but never used PKI. Please post your experience, just for reference...

Thanks,
