Just wanted to mention a couple of tools of importance for a Network Administrator:
SecureCRT 3.0 - telnet,ssh, etc tool
MultiRemoteRegedit - Remote Registry Editor and more
Also, if you have WIN2k Pro Installed, dont forget Computer Management in the Administration Tools Section. Connecting to remote clients form this tool can give you the control you need.

I usually look down upon remote administration for a number of reasons.
Simple rule: keep it local. But you know what, sometimes it's okay.
SSH is pretty solid as of now, wouldn't be so sure about remotely editing
the registry though... that hrmm.. well I wouldn't do it... especially if it wasn't
on the same network... oh well... that's me, and probably being over 'protective'...
Of course I don't know what authentication and protocol is used so I can't really
make a decent judgement.

Fortunately, it doesnt any extra "services" to be running to use the tool. If you get netbios traffic to the box, you just need admin rights to do a number of things. Included:
Browse Registry
Key Add, Change, Delete
Send Message
Shutdown, Reboot, Force all services / progams to close
etc.
Its a really great tool for those running a rather large nt domain.

Yup! Plus everyone is already filtering NetBIOS at Gateway/Firewall, right?
Actually, one of my biggest projects this year is to lock down beyond the perimeter. But yes, EVERYONE should be filtering netbios at the gateway...
