Does anyone know of some cool firewall/VPN gateway OSes I could throw on an old P1?

You could always set a BSD distro up as a firewall...

That floppyfw thing is sweetdogs, thanks Taz!  I haven't tryed it out yet, but it sounds pretty cool and easy.

I was looking for something that was specifically designed to go on an old crappy computer, not Free or OpenBSD, but thanks anyway Cobra. ;D

I havent used this version, used its predecessor tho (LRP - http://www.linuxrouter.org/ (http://www.linuxrouter.org/)) which was a little tricky but functional.

If you want it do to WiFi, try this also:
http://www.wifi.com.ar/english/cdrouter.html

That one also supports old PC's but is a bit larger, however does come w/ more options.

Anything I can do to prevent unused hardware ;)
