Title: 255.255.255.128...grrrr
Post by: Zerored on April 23, 2002, 03:10:17 AM
Okay, im preppin for my ccna. i was rollin through my chapters really really good. Subnetting, know my host from my network, subnet mask ect. I am sick of trying to figure out this Class B network addy 255.255.255.128. Im wondering if it will even be on the exam...anyway, in the cisco book it says that this really stupid subnet gives you 510 subnets at 126 hosts per subnet. Then i get lost. It seems that the rules change a bit. This is on pg 149 in the 640-507 book. I know they got a new one out, but no funds for it yet. The way they explain it is confusing. Basically, i need a different perspective on this. I didnt stay on this one, i started going on to the next chaperz..and is this one on the exam???

Nobody who has taken the exam is really going to give you the exact question, but YES, subnetting is on the exam so learn it completely (even if you have to go back and study it again).
