Viruses / Re: Norton Antivirus?

AVG is probably the best you are going to get at the moment for Windows. I have tested quite a few.. and they all have some painful problems. However AVG has yet to fault on me.

Norton on the other hand is satans cock! .. Don't suck it or you'll die!

Cool, man. Feel free to look around. Perhaps, in the future, don't start a whole new thread to say hi...

Cell Phones / Re: LG Scoop Slate
Last post by benthehutt - May 31, 2009, 07:29:04 PM
It's an LG, so I assume it was a Verizon phone? You need to make sure the phone is compatible with your carrier. I'm not sure that model supports a SIM card, so many of the major carriers are out. After that, there's no need to "unlock" this phone or do anything with the IMEI.

Act like you bought it on eBay or something. There's probably a number to call, specified by your carrier, that will allow it to download new programming and register it to your number. Check the website of your carrier, or simply bring it in to the store.

Cell Phones / LG Scoop Slate
Last post by VoidCrime - May 28, 2009, 11:32:02 PM
Alright. I found this LG Scoop in the parking lot at the mall today. I really have no intention of ever returning it.
I wanna use it. I know, I'm a bad person. If you're gonna tell me to 'Find the owner' or some other bull crap like that, you're not helping. I'm not changing my mind.

I need info on how I can make this phone 'mine'. I know a little already.

So, how would I go about 'unlocking' this phone? I'd rather not worry about changing the IMEI if possible, it seems to be pretty damn complicated.

Iam a online sales manager, and I employ 4-5 18-23 year olds to list parts on ebay. The problem is that I cannot get them to stay on track, off instant messenger, off facebook, myspace, etc. Is there a program out there that will allow me to set their computers not to allow myspace, facebook, aim, adultfriend finder, etc. I need a program that blocks aim and yahoo and all programs like that, and restricts address to other websites, while allowing them to do everything else related to ebay and access network folders. Any suggestions would be great.

Update: I dont know how to use ISA server or local security policy, group policy, and content advisor in windwos XP. Is there a website for this that provides step by step tutorials?

I'd prefer just a simple program to automate all this for me. Thanks!

Hi, please don't post the same thing twice.

As for your phone, you should probably contact your phone service provider, not an Internet forum.
