So what's everyone's view on this ? Good or bad ? Or does it not really mean much ? I think it could be an interesting class. Maybe it'll help others realize that those who release exploits are actually doing good (usually) rather than being inconsiderate and downright irresponsible.

From the description it sounds pretty good. I have soe of the same views..."virus' exist"...that's just the plain truth. The more the general public knows, the better off they will be.

I totally agree with you, Will. It does exist - period. And the more people who understand them, the better off everyone will be. The same goes for those who release exploits. I really hate people who think the security community is irresponsible and incosiderate and who knows what else. If it wasn't for those, they'd be even more in a mess. And I could see more security through obscurity (kind of anyway) if not shown to the companies with vulnerable products.
