Remove my name from other users IM list

Yes, I am new...tired of that one aren't ya...I have heard that there is a way to remove my name from someone's IM list (yahoo)...yes, I have asked; no, they will not comply. So, if there is ....something....that will allow me to boot my name off their list I would be grateful....how grateful you ask....well, that is a topic for another time

I don't know yahoo instant messenger very well, but I don't think you can remove your name from another person's list... anymore than you could remove something else from their computer. At least without exploiting something or using a backdoor or so....

Why not just block and/or go invis to them ?
