Ok...just came from computer class....got the SAM and System file....went to google and emailed it to myself.....well when I checked my e-mail...it says they were 1kb  ???

How exactlly do I get the file....Oh..I can't copy the file's...no right-click and i cant copy the sam file either...i just went into google and went to attacthed file and emailed....i just said that , man i hate school....lol

You cant copy the Windows SAM database or most system files when the OS is running. You'll need to offload to a USB key or floppy via DOS or some bootable media.

Another thing to play with is the backup files.
